This cabin is located on the other side of the lake, being the start of many of the trails which ascend to the Appalachain Trail. Many a memorable winter camping trip has started with the troop hiking across the frozen Sand Pond to stay at this cabin! The cabin is divided between three rooms, two for sleeping, and the last for a kitchen. This cabin is heated with propane. This cabin is set apart from most of the rest of the camp, but is easily accessible by truck.
